We were at La Rinascente in Milan and I spoke briefly with him. I told him I have a blog about him that is called God save King David, I made him laugh (!!!) and then I had my picture with him taken by Davide of D&G Fever.
When I was leaving, he called me back:“Thanks for what you do for the blog.”
(or something like that - I’m not sure my brain was functioning at the time)
“It’s my pleasure.”He is a gentleman indeed.
WIll I ever tire to speak of my meeting with this man?
